about us
At Gharan, we believe that great food starts with a meaningful story—and ours began during one of the most challenging times. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Yash Haldankar, Padmaja Naik, and Prajyot Naik came together with a shared vision: to serve simple, soulful food that reminds you of home.
What started as a small food cart in Porvorim, known as FuelBar, has today grown into Gharan—a beloved Goan restaurant known for its heartwarming meals and welcoming atmosphere. The name "Gharan" means “home,” and every dish we serve reflects just that.
Our Goan specialties are lovingly prepared by Yash’s mother, staying true to homestyle cooking passed down through generations. Whether you’re a seafood lover, a local foodie, or a traveler seeking authentic Goan flavors, Gharan offers you more than just a meal—it offers you a feeling of belonging.
From our home to your table—welcome to Gharan.
